Delicious breakfast and friendly stuff

I arrived a bit late in the night and they give me a room in another homestay nearby. It was a bit frustrating to move again on the other day. The room was small but nice, the family is very friendly and Praety offers rich breakfast. The wifi was very poor.

Great: excellent breakfast, very nice & helpful hosts (they made everything easy for us - renting motorbikes, booking massages, getting around ubud, etc), super cheap
Not so great: I havent been able to compare what other guest houses of same price offer but bathroom is very very basic

Great Family, Great Food, Balinese Culture!

this family is amazing. it's an incredibly humbling and peaceful feeling the moment you walk into their homestay. they have a traditional style home with a temple and beautiful garden. they were more than welcoming and the food is amazing! i was literally too full to finish the breakfast. the rooms have a nice space for reading or relaxing outside each area. there's even a mosquito net over the bed so you don't have to worry about being bit throughout the night.
Nightlife Tip:
Go out early for exploring, drinking, and eating because Ubud closes down early. It becomes pretty quiet by 9 or 10 pm.
