Horrible

My boyfriend and i recently booked this hotel via AGODA which was given 8.0 rating for a 3 star hotel. It was nothing but the bad experience we have ever encountered. Airport transfer was booked for 7 pax, 2 days prior to the day of arrival with a quote of 600baht for all 7 passengers. This was confirmed, however on the day of arrival we waited for approx 30 mins before a transport came. This was only for 4 passengers!!!! We manage to get another transport which took another 30 mins and cost us an additional 600baht! On arrival to the hotel, we were greeted with such hostility and felt very unwelcomed! During clarification on what happened with our airport transfer booking, the front desk staff were extremely rude and we not helpful at all. Instead they refused to acknowledge what had happened and raise their voice and one staff even slammed on the desk showing such terrible body language!!! When asked if i could speak to a manager, they brought a lady who could not speak a word of english. Making the situation worse. Looking at this we were very reluctant on continuing our stay in Phuket with such a hotel! We felt better being stranded than to be staying at the SURINTRA. Management should review the kind of people you choose to be at your front desk! It was an appalling experience. We were stranded for a few hours but managed to find another hotel in the area with much better service. First Impression Counts this definately did!

Stay was really good, Nice and friendly staff. felt bit uncomfortable talking to them as they don't know much English. Breakfast started at 8 which is not very convenient for us.

Stayed here for one night. The room was top quality. Big room, big bathroom. Clean. Nice Air conditioned. Small pool just infront of the room. Beach was a 15 min walk. Nice beach, great view. Nice waves. Street food available behind the beach road. Nice beach to lounge and relax. Since the hotel is small, it gives it a kind of private feel. Not many activities to do nearby Surin beach. We were just relaxing by the beach and then relaxing by the pool at the hotel. Surin locality seems like an expensive affair. Everything is slightly more expensive than elsewhere in Phuket.

Quiet Oasis away from the chaos

The pool, the staff and being away from the craziness that is everything else.

My stay was quite amazing and I was really excited when I first got there, because it's beautiful, the pictures really don't do it justice. I wouldn't say my bed was the most comfortable because it wasn't. I would also recommend to not be on the bottom floor just because there is a swing, which is lovely, that makes it sound as though a bullfrog is croaking in your room. My stay was overall quite relaxing and enjoyable, it was easily the highlight of being phuket.

Nice hotel and location

The hotel is not beach front but it is only a short walk to the beach, value was great and the rooms are modern and very nicely decorated. The Breakfast was ok, not a huge selection though. The only real complaint was that the bed was extremely hard which made a good nights sleep difficult, it would have been a problem if we stayed more than one night.

i live in phuket and stay at hotels all the time when having a night out (this time was at catch beach club which is a 5 minute walk over the park on the beach) the hotels in surin are generally more expensive and so i wasnt expecting much for 1000b a night but i was pretty surprised. this is probably the best value hotel i have stayed at in phuket...the room and hotel was really nice and a 5 minute walk over to the beach, bars and restaurants. unlike previous reviews - staff were helpful, fast and friendly and wifi worked just fine check out catch beach club for late night drinks and pla seafood down the other end for dinner right on the sand.

great place just 5 minutes walk from surin beach - this is the best value hotel in the area by a long way so if your budget is around the 1100baht mark and they have rooms on special then dont look further...

Fantastic hotel for the price

The Hotel is great. It has a nice Pool and is situated a short walk from the beach. The rooms are modern, spacious and very comfortable. It is around 30 mins from the airport, and close to local amenities such as shops and restaurants. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel. We enjoyed our stay
